Ernie Hoffman & Sandra Ramaker Grants
In honor of two of our late committee members, Kids for Sports has created to grants in their names. Each grant is $3000 and will be handed out each year to one boy and one girl. Ernie Hoffman
Ernie served in the military with the States Marine Corps & then joined the United States Air Force for 20 yrs. His love after that was theatre industry. He loved movies. Ernie served on numerous civic committees in Mesquite and was widely known for his outspoken, kind, and helpful nature. Ernie was passionate about giving and the thing he gave most to, was the Kids for Sports Foundation.
Sandra Ramaker
Sandra enjoyed being on the Harley Davidson Motorcycles first as a passenger, then as the driver. She loved to bowl. She was deeply involved in politics and served on the City Council for the City of Mesquite. She also volunteered many hours with multiple organizations in town. She served on the Board for the Virgin Valley Water District. She loved serving the on the Advisory Committee for Kids For Sports Foundation. She was at every event and any chance given she spoke about it.
