7th Annual Kids For Sports Golf Tournament

Updated: Mar 30, 2022

The 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Kids for Sports was a huge success again this year raising over $20,000 for the kids in the Virgin Valley. Even during these tough times, the generosity of everyone is amazing. We want to thank all of you for your support of this event by participating, and we hope it was as much fun for you as it was for all of us.

We were lucky it was another beautiful day for the tournament. Although it was a little cool to start off, having the sun shining in the morning gave everyone a warm beginning.

We would again like to thank our wonderful Title Sponsors for their generosity:

WOLF CREEK GOLF CLUB as our Title Event Sponsor

Washington Federal Bank as the Title Lunch Sponsor

Eagles Landing Truck Plaza as the Title Welcome Gift Sponsor

Elaine Hurd as our Face Mask Title Sponsor

Mesquite Magic, 50/50 (Hole #11) with all of your help was able to raise $610 “wow”. That’s $305 to them for their Team’s needs.

Below are a list of the tournament winners, but the funds raised for this event make the Kids in the community the real winners here.

Tournament Winners:

Men’s: Rich Kaul, Ridge Larson, Rob Krieger, and Dennis Schroeder

Mixed: Mark Yardley, Katie Yardley, Taylor Yardley, and Derek Jensen

Women’s: Cheryll Lawson, Ina Bune, Jodie Parker, and Tina Lipschutz

KP Men’s: Tyson Pace

KP Women’s: Penne Johnson

Long Drive Men’s: Chad Klein

There were several happy tournament winners, but the true winners here were the kids in our community! Thank you to all volunteers and tournament players and donors for making this year another splendid success.

See everyone next year!!!
